Hi, All.  I am Jennifer Brown the owner of Implex Tax & Accounting and Implex Professional Development.   I opened Implex Tax Services in 2003.  In 2007 I faced a difficult decision; I had a baby, a 2 year old, and a growing business.  I knew that something had to give.  So I reduced my business until my daughter began 1st grade.  During that time I did a lot of research and planning for what I was going to do and become once she started school.  It was during this time that I took the IRS Enrolled Agent exams.  I wanted to make sure that when I came back into the industry full force I had something to distinguish me from other tax preparers. I saw a distinct need to help people understand what the IRS really meant and what they wanted from us as a business owner.  In other words, I decided to become an IRS interpreter.  I speak IRS.

I have been back at it a few years now.  My business has doubled year after year because I believe in providing value.  During the time you spend reading my column I want to make sure that you find value.   I want to teach you what the IRS really means and the best ways to KEEP YOUR MONEY!

I currently serve on the Public Relations Committee and the NTPI Planning committees  for the NAEA (National Association of Enrolled Agents).  I am the Vice President of my local Chapter of the NAEA called the Great West Society of Enrolled Agents.  I teach QuickBooks, basic accounting for your business, continuing education,  and I also help other professionals learn how to grow their business in the current market.
